Valerie's "Blaw Blaw Blawg"
As a Family Therapist/Mediator/Lawyer/Registered Nurse-type person, I have a lot of interests and am constantly "On the Read." As a wife and mother, I am constantly "On the Run." I write these, occasionally, in between. Welcome to Valerie's..."Bla(w)..Bla(w)..Blawg"

Video of the House Committee Hearing Investigating Attack in Benghazi
Last night, I watched Tyrone Woods' father, Charles Woods, being interviewed following the return of his son's body to the United States. Tyrone Woods was a U.S. Navy SEAL who was murdered in Benghazi, Libya during an attack which also killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens on September 11, 2012. Tyrone Woods was joined at the scene by fellow former Navy SEAL Glen Doherty and at least two others who were attached to the U.S. Consulate and the CIA annex, nearby. Both Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty were killed by mortar fire after hours spent attempting to rescue and secure the area for the Ambassador and other personnel of the U.S. Consulate. During the interview, Mr. Charles Woods said "I wish that the leadership in the White House had the same level of moral courage and heroism that my son displayed."
The questions which are being asked transcend anything having to do with partisanship or election polls. The investigation of what happened in Benghazi and within the ranks of our military and government are far too important to be summarily dismissed with a sigh and a wave of "Hey, it's just politics." I vividly remember Watergate during the summer of 1973, and being in Washington D.C. while the press and the entire nation were asking the question: "What did they know and when did they know it?" It is precisely because of our patriotism, our love and respect for our United States that we must resoundingly ask these questions again and settle for nothing less than the full, unvarnished truth. God bless those brave men. We owe them, their families and our fellow citizens nothing less than that.
